Sen Khitchanna (Pitakun, Kitcha)

Sen Khitchanna start in navel point and runs to the vagina as Sen Kitcha (blue) in woman and to the Penis as Sen Pitakin (red) in men.

Sen Nanthakrawat runs from the navel to the urethra or urinary passage as Sen Sikhini and from navel to anus. In Thai Massage we work this lines doing abdominal massage.

Therapeutic uses: Frequent urination, famale infertility, impotence, precox ejaculation, irregular menstruation, uterine bleeding, retention of urine, diarrhea, abdominal pain, hernia. Particular advice and treatment should be considered, this conditions are delicate , massage can help but medical advice and/or and experimented masseur is compulsory.

Sen Kalathari

Sen Kalathari has 5 branches on feet and hands. Usually we start working with the feet and legs, it has a grounding effect Many lines come across the legs. Sen Kalathari starts on the navel and divides in 4 (up and down and left and right in a symmetrical way) from navel point it goes up to the nipples, reach the shoulder, goes along the arm and forearm as the middle line an divide in the 5 branches of the hands, working on them in very relaxing and helphull for those who work with computers, music performers, or basically anyone. Down it runs from navel forming the second inside line to the foot and from there to the toes, useful for pain, heavyness and muscular contraction in legs and feet.

Therapy Uses: Digestive system, Indigestion, Hernia, Paralysis of arms and legs, Knee pain, Jaundice, Arthritis of the fingers, shock, chest pain, Rheumatic hands, heart disease, arrhythmia, sinusitis, Pain in arms and legs, Angina pectoris, Epilepsy, Schizophrenia, hysteria and other mental disorders.

Sen Ittha / Sen Pingakhala

Sen Ittha, here in green, is similar to Ida Nadi in Yoga and Urinary bladder in TCM, feminine, passive, yin. In women we massage left side (ittha). It starts from the left nostril runs up to the top of the head, down the neck and continue parallel to the spinal cord is line 1 on the back, cross the buttocks forming the third outside line of the tight and up the knee change to the front part of the body forming 1st inside line and finishing one kun left from navel.

Therapeutic Uses: Abdominal pain, Intestinal diseases, Back pain, dizzines, Hedache, Stiff Neck, Shoulder Pain, Nasal Obstruction, Chill and fever

Sen Pingakhala, in red, is similar to Pingala Nadi in Yoga runs exactly the same way but on the right side of the body, is masculine, stimulating, Yang. We massage firs right side on Men in Thai Massage.

Therapeutic Uses: Same as Pingala plus diseases of liver and gall bladder

Sen Lawusang / Sen Ulangka

Sen Lawsabd sen Ulangaka

Sen lawusang (Blue) start on the left ear, runs down the side of the neck towards the nipple finishing in the solar plexus. Sen Ulangaka (red) do the same on the right side.

Therapeutic Uses: Ear diseases, cough, facial paralysis, toothache, throat ache, chest pain, gastrointestinal diseases.

Sen Sahatsarangsi / Sen Thawari

Sahatsaragsi Thawari

Sen Sahatsarangsi is similar to the stomach meridian in TCM, start on the left eye goes down the throat and runs left side of the abdomen until the hips where it turn to the back part of the body forming the first line on the outer leg and the down the foot and up again forming the first inside leg line, continues across the groin and and stops right below the navel.

Therapeutic Uses: arthritis of the knee joint, numbness of lower extremity, hernia and knee pain, Facial Paralysis, toothache, Throat ache, fever, chest pain, depression, gastrointestinal and urogenital diseases, leg paralysis.

Sen Thawari is runs in the same way but on the right side

Sen Sumana


Sen sumana is vary similar to sumana Nadi in Yoga and Ren Mai in TCM, It runs from the tip of the tongue, down the throat ending in the solar plexus.

Therapeutic uses: Asthma, Bronchitis, Chest pain, heart disease, Cough, throat problems, digestive system, abdominal pain.
